We have two Alberta showrooms. Calgary: 3651 19 ST NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6S8, serving the AHS Calgary Zone. Red Deer: Unit 3 - 6721 67 Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4P 1K3, serving the AHS Central Zone. Both have free on-site parking, wheelchair-accessible entrances, and welcome walk-ins Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Do you offer compression stocking fittings in Calgary?

Yes. We have a certified compression fitter on staff and carry Sigvaris, Jobst, Mediven, Juzo, and Therafirm in ready-to-wear and custom sizes. We direct-bill most extended insurance providers (Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife) and accept AHS coverage for qualifying lymphedema patients.

Does Western Health Care install stairlifts in Calgary?

Yes — we install straight stairlifts (often in a single day), custom curved stairlifts, and indoor / outdoor vertical platform lifts (VPLs). Every install begins with a free in-home assessment, and we service every lift we sell. Short-term stairlift rentals are also available for post-surgery recovery.

Yes. Our home accessibility specialist visits your home anywhere in Calgary, identifies fall hazards, measures stairs and doorways, and gives you a written, prioritized plan. The assessment is completely free with no obligation to purchase.

Do you work with AADL, RAMP, SHARP, AHS, or insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We help Alberta families navigate AADL, RAMP, SHARP, WCB Alberta, AHS, Veterans Affairs Canada, and NIHB, plus federal accessibility and medical expense tax credits. We prepare the paperwork at no charge; eligibility and final approval are determined by each funding organization.
